Janice K. Davis was born in 1964, embedded by God with a passion for writing and education. She married Larry in 1984, and they have a beautiful daughter, Sydni, born in 1995. Janice has three degrees or certifications, focusing on written expression and communication arts. To date, she has published numerous curriculum units, worked as a freelance writer of Sunday School curriculum and youth drama productions. She has been an educator for 22 years, currently working full-time as a 6th-grade Communication Arts teacher in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 1997, Janice’s grandmother died from a 10-year battle with Alzheimer’s. Thus began her passion for researching and writing about the disease. Years later, after working with middle-school students, Janice also discovered a desire to minister to young people who struggle with regular and, sometimes, highly irregular needs. One early morning, God inspired Janice to combine her passions into the theme for this novel. After months of His guidance, patient prodding, and her procrastination, Janice began the joyful task of sharing God's message with you. This novel is truly a gift from God.
Soli deo Gloria.
